We know that people living with dementia are especially at risk from falls. So, what are the best ways to mitigate this danger? We’ve reached Tip #3 of my Ten Top Tips for Preventing Dementia-Related Falls. 
Tip #3: Assess the noise levels of household objects. Sudden loud noises — for example a shrill telephone ring or a thundering door knocker — can cause your loved one to startle or turn quickly This can bring on disorientation and/or dizziness which can result in a fall.
