🎧 Amy Thompson from Moody Month talks about women periods

Rise IQ welcomes Amy Thomson from Moody Month to our podcast series. Moody Month is a mood and hormone cycle tracker designed to help women better understand their bodies, filling the void of female produced, female-focused technology.

Why is it that something as natural as a period still has a huge stigma around it? So many women have personal stories of stress and worry around their periods, particularly in the workplace. Conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids and menopause can be incredibly disruptive yet many women try to carry on as normal and are far too embarrassed to have those conversations.

Amy talks about the culture shift that needs to happen in the corporate world. She explains that we shouldn’t just focus on the function of women’s issues, but consider the wider impact these issues can have on both physical and mental health.
